November Staff Spotlight

We are very proud of our hard-working team here at CountyClean, and with countless achievements between them all, we feel that we need to give our excellent employees some well-deserved recognition!

Each month, we will be giving a shoutout to two staff members based on observations from our board of directors and general feedback from our lovely customers.

We are delighted to announce the recipients of our ‘Staff in the Spotlight’ recognition scheme for November 2021 as Ben Knights and Simon Collier-Luxford.

Ben has been with CountyClean for more than eight years. In that time, he has worked hard through the ranks from CCTV and combination unit operative to pump engineer where he carried out pump station and sewage treatment plant servicing, repairs and installations. Following many years on the ground learning all operational aspects of the business, Ben became a key member of our sales team where he enjoyed advising customers and finding new clients to ensure the continued growth of the Group. In 2018, Ben was promoted to Pump Services Divisional Manager where he now oversees and plans large and small civils projects as well as the entire pumps department.

His working knowledge of all the company services is second to none. In February 2021, he was given greater managerial responsibilities and has continued to flourish and excel and has earned great respect from his peers and directors. Ben takes his work 100% seriously but still manages to bring entertainment and fun to our working office – he’s always the life and soul of the party!

Simon is a long-serving operations staff member who joined the Group in 2011 as a drainage engineer specialising in CCTV surveys and jetting. Simon passed his HGV driving test in 2019, enabling him to drive all of CountyClean’s vehicles. He was then promoted to Operations Supervisor back in September 2020 and has taken on this role with gusto.

Simon is skilled, qualified and highly experienced in every vehicle and piece of machinery on our fleet. He regularly project manages large and important works and has built an excellent rapport with our staff and customer base alike.

Congratulations to both Ben and Simon for all of their continued hard work and commitment to CountyClean!

If we have recently carried out a job for you and one of our staff members deserves some recognition, we will be glad to hear your feedback!

Check back next month to see more ‘Staff in the Spotlight’.
