Please note that we operate 24/7/365, so most technically skilled roles have a Monday to Friday daytime routine with some additional overtime at weekends and night work required.

Experienced HGV Drivers – No Closing Date

We are always on the lookout for experienced HGV Drivers with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be working with our Transport and Operations Department to ensure the efficient and safe removal of non-hazardous liquid waste, whilst driving a variety of HGV vehicles.

Main duties include:

  • To collect liquid waste from commercial, industrial and residential sectors
  • To dispose of waste at registered waste carrier sites
  • To carry out defect checks on vehicles
  • Ensure all jobs sheets required are on the vehicle prior to departure
  • Complete the tachograph to meet legislation and hand these in on a weekly basis to the Transport Manager
  • Responsible for safety and security of the load when at sites and for the duration of the journey
  • Ensure vehicles are refuelled and cleaned daily

Ideal candidate:

Skills and experience required for this role include;

  • Full UK Driving Licence with Class C + CE entitlement (No penalty points)
  • Must hold a current digital tachograph and CPC card
  • Geographical knowledge of the South East is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to meet demanding time scales
  • Previous vacuum tanker experience would be desirable but not necessary

Benefits include:

We can offer you a full-time permanent role with an excellent salary commensurate with your skills and an excellent professional company to work for.

The basic salary starts at £30,000.00 increasing to 35,000.000 after 12 months of service. Target earnings are estimated at £45,000.00 per year if successful candidates take on weekday and weekend overtime (all overtime is at an enhanced rate).

HGV Driver Training Programme – No Closing Date

Due to our committed expansion plans, we are looking to attract candidates for our new HGV driver training scheme. This scheme will result in successful candidates becoming HGV Drivers/Operators.

CountyClean is looking to fill 12 positions within the company (applicants must have a full clean UK driving license with no penalty points). HGV training will start once successful candidates have the relevant medical and provisional LGV licence.

Accounts Assistant (Immediate Start) – Closing Date 29th October 2021

We are in need of a full-time Accounts Assistant to support our accounts team.

This will be an accounts clerk role and will include a range of general duties within the following areas; Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Credit Control, Reconciliations and Analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • You must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Bookkeeping experience is essential
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts (desirable)
  • Any levels of AAT will be considered but are not necessary

The role is Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 with a 1 hour lunch break. You will be entitled to 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

You will be based at our Eastbourne office where there is free staff parking.

Salary starts at £18k but is commensurate with experience.

Receptionist / Sales Administrator (Immediate Start) – Closing Date 29th October 2021

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive full-time receptionist and sales administrator.

The primary duties of this role will include but are not limited to;

  • The handling and routing of all telephone calls
  • Maintaining an extensive procurement system, assisting in the accreditation process and administration support across the business
  • Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will need to be flexible in your approach to given tasks and able to prioritise
  • Be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, the basic Microsoft suite
  • Ideally have worked in a Customer Service based environment before.

We are a leading environmental services and liquid waste management company operating out of several sites across the South East, you will be based at our offices in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne.

Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Business Development Executive (Full-Time) – Closing Date 29th October 2021

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a new Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our successful and fast-paced driven sales team. The role requires an adaptable and resourceful individual who is proactive, capable of establishing and developing a new client base and continuing the growth of our business in the London, Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Territories.

You will be required to proactively seek new business opportunities, close sales and manage new customer relationships. Targeting a diverse market place you will be responsible for understanding their business requirements and tailoring a bespoke solution for them around our range of environmental services.

Qualities & Qualifications:

  • Proven background in new business sales/development
  • Clean driving license
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong literacy, presentation and communication skills
  • Independent and self-motivated

The successful candidate will be diligent, conscientious with attention to detail and an ambassador for the company promoting the CountyClean Group ethos at every opportunity.

Main Duties:

  • Be proactive in seeking out new business opportunities including cold calling (both face to face and via the telephone)
  • Establish and develop new clients in the London, Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Territories
  • Provide ongoing support to newly found clients from both Commercial and Domestic markets
  • Work closely with other members of the sales and operations teams and report to the Sales Managers providing timely paperwork, RAMS and new customer account details
  • Work towards and exceed set sales targets
  • Provide targeted reports for the management team
