New Kroll Recycler Unit Just Around the Corner

New Kroll Recycler Unit Just Around the Corner

The wait is almost over for CountyClean Group as their second new Kroll unit this year arrives in the UK!

On Monday 12th August, directors and staff of CountyClean Group travelled to the headquarters and factory of Germany’s leading manufacturer of high performance environmental vehicles, Kroll, in Wesel near Dusseldorf.

CountyClean met with Account Manager, Damien O’Connor, of O’C Mechanical Services and staff from Kroll to carry out the final inspection on their custom-built recycler unit. The new kroll combination unit is a 32 tonne “tridam” type eight wheeled unit built on a Scania chassis with integrated water recycling capabilities.

After a thorough inspection of the vehicle to ensure it had been built to the Group’s exact specifications, the final sign-off was given.

Kroll was then ready to commence training on the specialist features of the unit with one of CountyClean’s highly skilled operatives, Ryan Brown.

Kroll Training

After a long drive from Germany the recycler unit is due to arrive in the UK at one of Scania’s depot in Kent week commencing 19th August. The unit will then have sign writing added and safety cameras fitted in the cab and on the outside of the vehicle, a feature that CountyClean adds to all its vehicles.

Delivery of the completed unit is expected at CountyClean’s headquarters by the end of August. The arrival of this new unit and the two already delivered this year (an eight wheeled vacuum tanker and a six wheeled Kroll combination unit) are part of the Group’s major equipment investment in 2019. The Group also have more vehicles on the way before the end of the year!

The new recycler unit has extremely powerful suction and jetting abilities and will be ready to work on large projects. This will be complementing the six wheeled Kroll combination unit that was delivered to CountyClean at the beginning of June which has already been hard at work.
